Angela Wörgartner

Dancer/Apprentice

Angela was born in the mountains of Tyrol in Austria and started dancing at the age of 3. After trying out Jazz, Modern Dance and Contact Improvisation she developed her interest in contemporary dance. To broaden her dancing skills she decided in 2014 to study stage dance and dance pedagogy at the Anton Bruckner Privat University in Linz, where she received the chance to get inspired by various choreographers such as Christina Mertzani, Evangelos Poulinas and Jarek Cemerek. Furthermore she got a scholarship for the One Small Step Festival in Corfu and worked on a outdoor performance with Helder Seabra. To find the link between the studies and the professional dance world she made the decision to attend an apprenticeship.  Angela will join Norrdans for the season 2018/19 as an apprentice.
